Day 3 Wildfires Waterfalls and Hitch Hikers

After a night in Colmel at a very expensive resort (literally the only place we could get). We set off to Mahon waterfalls.
There were wildfires Smouldering in the Hills as we rode towards Mahon Falls.

Ben had picked up a hitchhiker who we named Paddy who was able to cling on to his bike like Spider Man for about 50 miles. He was actually really sad when he finally decided to let go. we can only assume that this was his planned destination for his free Uber ride.

We were treated to a practice helicopter rescue while the Falls quite spectacular.

And then we stopped rather too long for an iced coffee and a game of chess, neither of us had played for years and it was obvious. Williams Snr won, or Williams Jnr let him win depending on who you ask.

Mahoun Falls
At Mahon falls we were treated to a training exercise by the mountain rescue team.

We also got in ferry crossing number 2 of the trip although this one was far shorter and cheaper that the Stena line costapacket affair we came over on.
